Johnny Bower Making A Comeback?

July 15, 2006 (Press Release) -- Reports out of Toronto are that the Maple Leafs signed goaltender Johnny Bower. "I feel ready to play, age isnt a factor in this game" stated Bower at a press conference. "He is a strong goaltender with a great history in the NHL, he would help our team a lot" said John Ferguson Jr. referring to Bower. The Maple Leafs are excited to have Bower on their team, "He (Bower) is one of the NHL's all-time greats" said captain Mats Sundin. Bower is expected to start in goal for the Leafs during their season opener against the Ottawa Senators.
