Starting Thursday, July 20, AWE will partner with event planning website Mollyguard.com© to release free tickets for AWE’s Scorn 6 event, to be held September 30 at the AWE Arena© in Alfred, NY.

ALFRED, NY, July 17, 2006 – Just 200 tickets will be made available through this unique, first-ever e-ticket distribution.Fans will be able to access the tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis by logging onto AWE’s official website at alfredwrestling.com. Both general admission and front-row seating are available while supplies last.
“By distributing free tickets to our many fans, we’re thanking them for their ardent support,” said AWE founder Chris Dunshee. “Of course, these free tickets also provide an opportunity for fans ‘on the fence’ about AWE to experience our brand of wrestling excitement free of charge.” Dunshee added that more tickets may be made available once staging requirements are finalized.
The annual Scorn supercard will be held in Alfred, New York for the third consecutive year and is expected to be broadcast on television through Alfred University Television (AUTV). Radio coverage may be transmitted by WALF 89.7 FM.
Since its inception in 2001, AWE Scorn has been a significant event on the annual wrestling calendar. At the inaugural Scorn event in 2001, Jesse Palermo defeated Orion to become the first AWE World Wrestling Champion©. The most recent Scorn supershow was one of the most-watched events in AUTV’s ten-year history. At AWE Scorn 5 last September, Shawn “The Hammer” Stryker bested six opponents in the Tournament of Torture gauntlet match.
