When faced with danger fear is a real and good impulse to get yourself out of harms way. That however isn't where fear stops, it also stops us from doing anything different for fear we won't know what will happen next. This is part of fear that we all have to let go of or suffer the consquences.

Why do most people go to work everyday and suffer through rush hour traffic, only to sit at a desk, or stand in a assembly line doing something they don't like doing? Fear. The supposed reality of what might happen if they don't do this. And they learn this early on, from the adults around them, from school and from the media. To put in 40 years and get a $40 timex and live out their lives on 40% of what wasn't cutting it to begin with the primary result of fear. We do what those have done before us and we forget that there are other possibilities.

To live our lives, to actually feel as though we have the freedom to become what we desire without limits, that is what we all wish for when we go to bed as children and possibility still lives everywhere. So what happens?

We have big dreams and we share them and then those who we want approval from tell us to get our heads out of the clouds. We go to school and want to speak out minds and we are chastised for not paying attention. Our parents, doing the best they know how, tell us that we must do things a certain way and somewhere along the way, we believe them and forget ourselves. These are the seeds that grow into a plant known as fear and fear feeds on every failure - one can't success without failing - every bit of struggle, every idea that doesn't work out the first time and every thing everyone else tells us about what isn't possible.

Everything feels normal enough until one day we wake up and discover life has gone by and we are not happy. Only now... What do we do about that?
Fear would have you do nothing. Stay stuck and take no action. That is fears job and it does it very well. Fear breeds inaction and inaction breeds procrastination until we feel so contained by our circumstances that we don't believe we've got what it takes and maybe it just wasn't in the cards.

Here's the secret. Fear has nothing to do with reality. You can succeed at anything you set your mind to, providing you set your mind to it. Yes, you will want to surround yourself with opporutunities and support that feeds your new mindset, and you may find yourself associating with different people and enjoying different opportunities. That is the ticket to living a life without fear. Personal development also known as personal growth is the training that you will require to unlock your limitations and involving yourself in the future you want, by first determining what that future is, which is the most important part of making this come true.

Realize however, fear will never leave you. You will still feel uneasy when facing new endeavors, however the art of a life without limits is, feeling the fear and doing it anyway! When you can live by that creed you will have everything you desire.
