July 18, 2006 (Press Release) --
Rapper Mysonne Linen was recently paroled from Orleans Correctional Facility in Albion, New York, after serving 7 years in prison.
Mysonne’s long awaited return comes as a relief to his family and friends. Mysonne’s fans are also elated as they just got a taste of his talent before he was convicted.
Mysonne, a Bronx, NY native was featured on several mix tapes, as well as Violator The Album, DMX’s The Great Depression, Mase’s Double Up, Ruff Ryder’s Ryde or Die Vol. 1 as well as several other projects. Mysonne also wrote for a slew of different artists.
Besides a heavy mix tape and street buzz, Mysonne was actually signed to Wanna Blow Entertainment (Jae Millz), as well as Violator/Def Jam shortly before his incarceration. Although his album was completed, Life Teaches and Reality Bites was never released before he went to prison.
Mysonne was certainly not forgotten while he was away, thanks to his management team, Wanna Blow Entertainment, and Jae Millz, who has been shouting “Free Mysonne” out on just about every song he’s done over the last few years. Mysonne was also featured in The Source and XXL magazines while he was incarcerated.
Since being released last Wednesday, July 5th, 2006, Mysonne has reconnected with his family and friends and has already made an appearance on New York City radio station Power 105.1 with Ed Lover, Shade 45 on Sirius Satellite Radio and has been interviewed by various media.
Mysonne has returned to the studio with seven years of brand new material to be recorded.
Mysonne still has a huge fan base and many major record labels are still interested in working with him in the near future.
