WIMAUMA,FL - One motorcyclist died and another was rushed to a hospital after the two crashed on State Road 674, west of Carlton Lake Rd. near Wimauma.

Information from the Florida Highway Patrol indicates an accident near Wimauma Sunday morning claimed the life of a Riverview man. The report states Larry Anderson, 34, was driving east on SR 674, west of Carlton Branch Road, when he lost control of his motorcycle and swerved off the roadway. A second motorcycle traveling behind Anderson, driven by Morry Williams, 42, swerved to avoid hitting Anderson's bike. State Troopers said Anderson was ejected from his bike and was found in a ditch among several trees. His bike wound up next to a light pole. Williams was also ejected from his bike and was found in a clump of bushes. His bike was found in a ditch. Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene, and Williams was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Troopers said charges are pending in the accident.
