According to Ernst & Young, the award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic and growing businesses. Mr. Shepher was selected by an independent panel of judges to receive the award, which was presented June 27, 2006 at an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year gala at the Beverly Hilton.

About Life Alert:

Life Alert is (on average) saving a life approximately every 45 minutes, using a unique technology to provide superior home monitoring and protection.
