July 23, 2006 (Press Release) --
Every year right before school, University Performing Arts Centre (UPAC) holds an open registration for new and returning dance students. Due to past success, director Judi Freed-Siegfried chooses to hold them annually so parents have time to coordinate their active children’s schedules in the upcoming school year and greet some of UPAC’s teachers.
The teachers of UPAC consider open registration a time to get to know parents and students, and give them more personal time and assistance in choosing their children’s classes.
After a long summer many returning students can be found walking through the doors of the dance studio to make sure they don’t miss out on any new dance classes being offered. UPAC also offers their dance students an opportunity to purchase dance items such as ballet shoes, tap dance shoes, jazz shoes, leotards and tights all at a reasonable price.
With over 9,000 square feet, UPAC offers many levels of dance classes and types of dance to accommodate anyone’s level of experience.
