Boston -- Homeowners can now sell their own home without paying a listing agent
a commission, and still receive all the benefits of listing their house for sale on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) without using an agent.
Real estate property values have been declining. People who purchased in the past few years are finding there is just not enough equity to cover all the costs associated with selling through a traditional listing agent.
