BETbyINTERNET.com suspends 800 telephone wagering services effective immediately

Online casino are moving towards strickly internet only wagering

August 1, 2006 (Press Release) -- San Jose, Costa Rica, July 31, 2006 -- Online casino and sportsbook, BETbyINTERNET.com, annouced that it has suspended its 800 telephone wagering service after recent United States Department of Justice indictment hit another large offshore sports wagering service. The decision was made solely by the online betting service and was not requested nor influenced by the DOJ of the United States. Customer service numbers will still be available for clients experiencing issues with their accounts, but no wagers will be accepted by BETbyINTERNET via the 800 telephone service. "For BETbyINTERNET.com, this is business as usual", said Lee Samuels, promotions director for the online Betting outfit. "The majority of our business is non-American and non-telephone service. So we shouldn't be impacted by this move", he added.

BET by INTERNET is a popular online gaming service and casino powered by World Gaming PLC.
