Folder lock, just as its name implies, is encryption freeware to lock folders in seconds. Any sensitive and confidential file locked by folder lock is hidden and inaccessible to ill-disposed person. Folder lock is a smart data protection tool and easy to use. User can just keep (cut and paste) file in provided folder and choose one of protection mode (lock, scramble, encrypt). Folder lock is non-intrusive, that means software program and protected file can be transferred between individual computers and removable drivers without reinstallation.

In traditional way, cautious PC user keeps confidential file under "My Documents" folder. However, "My Documents" is accessible once login and it may cause inconvenience if your family or close friends login using your account. Using Folder Lock, all protected files are hidden and inaccessible unless opening Folder Lock program and entering correct password.
