While at Dfest in Tulsa in July, they were greeted with respect from many of music industry professionals. “I only can say that all the guys are personable and hard working. I think they’re on to something that time will tell. Every time I turned around, someone from the band was there, smiling and interested in what was going on. Dedication comes to mind. All the best,” said Neil Citron, Grammy Award winning guitarist, Engineer, Producer. “With heart, energy and catchy tunes Sho-Nuf will win you over,” said Mark Wolfson, Director of Production and Development, Playtone Records.
Upon returning they were notified that they were chosen to join the roster of talent agency, Milestone Agency ( www.milestoneagency.com ). This nation wide booking agent works with the top twenty indie artists in America. Sho-Nuf will begin a three month nation wide tour after their South Park showcase.
As the phoenix rises from the ashes, deep within the urban streets from the southwest, Sho-Nuf has risen too from their humble beginnings. Three core members from the eighties group Krush II who quickly caught the eyes of RCA, Warner, and Immortal records, LTD, Mike Ice and DJ Terrorizzer evolved into a sound that sparks a fire of change. With over twenty years of performing under their belt, they have embraced upon a maiden journey of birthing a new genre of music.
After taking hip-hop to their maximum boundaries, these three visionaries sought to bring about a change within the music scene. With a fresh mix of rock, reggae, and rap, they have introduced a live band. Comprised of urban rock boys from the south their mix of bass, guitar, and the steady rhythm of percussion, Sho-Nuf is making people turn their heads. Sho-Nuf is the voice of the people.
After less than a year, they have opened for Afroman, Winter Circle, and traveled to China, Australia, Europe and most recently Canada. Their music is featured on many international internet radio stations, including their own sister production company, Street Grind Entertainment.
