Destined 2 Be Fit has launched two new fitness challenges in an effort to combat the obesity epidemic in the United States.

San Antonio, TX August 4, 2006 – Destined 2 Be Fit co-founders and certified personal trainers Diana Chaloux and Jonathan Uphoff have issued two new Fitness Challenges in an effort to combat obesity .
“We are deeply concerned about the growing obesity problem that is becoming an epidemic not just in San Antonio but across the country” says Chaloux. “Our mission at D2BFit is to provide a fitness education along with motivation and a non judgmental environment for those who want to start leading a more fit and healthy lifestyle.”
To aid in the fight against obesity, D2BFit launched the “Ultimate D2BFit Success Challenge” and the “B2B and D2B Fitness Challenge”. Uphoff says, “We intentionally avoided using ‘weight loss’ in the title of our challenges, this is because the goal is not just to lower the number on the scale, but to create better nutritional habits and exercise adherence in order to improve the quality and quantity of life.”
The “B2B and D2B Fitness Challenge” is intended for Brides to Be who already have a set fitness deadline. The “Ultimate D2BFit Success Challenge” is for anyone else who is serious about committing to their fitness goals. “We are offering some great incentives for those who sign up for the program, and when our challengers have achieved their goals, they receive more prizes and the chance to win a cruise for two,” Chaloux explains.
Destined 2 Be Fit takes a different approach to fitness. The company provides Fitness DVD’s along with an online fitness support center. The support center offers the opportunity for members to develop a client/trainer relationship with Chaloux and Uphoff, making them more than a “face” on the t.v. screen. The duo offers fitness coaching services, nutritional guidance and the ability to interact with them in real time via the online chat room. In addition the site offers fitness health calculators, a fitness forum and fitness library.
“We help our members and clients take a deeper look at their fitness, we encourage them to develop a fitness vision for themselves, identify specific goals, discover their powerful motivators and also identify obstacles that may stand in the way of their fitness progress,” says Uphoff. “Ultimately we want them to adopt healthy and fit habits they can maintain throughout their life.”
