The appointment is the result of the company’s ongoing succession plans to maintain its leadership in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Optimization (SEO) and is effective immediately. Having last worked at Idiom Technologies, Chip guided several multi-million dollar customer engagements as their Vice President of Professional Services. Prior to Idiom, he led a professional service team at Performaworks, acquired by Workscape, and at Revenio where he built the consulting organization from the ground up before being acquired by Vignette. Chip is the former CEO and founder of The Clarity Group, a 100 person consulting company that served numerous clients including Microsoft, Bank Boston and State Street Bank. He began his career as an engineer at Raytheon, and received a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering and Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. Chip has the perfect business and technical expertise to help SpiderSplat during its next phase. ”As a founder I am delighted that he is now at the helm and look forward to working closely with him,” Melin continued.
