August 10, 2006 (Press Release) --
(Miami, Florida) This fall marks the debut of three young Hispanic entrepreneurs. The clothes do make the man as Derrick Orosa, Jorge Vanegas, and Robert Santana Jr. are going to become the name in fashion with their Kings N’ Queens line of couture. These young men have got a hot line they are going to debut in the city where it’s all about the “bling”- Miami.
Following suit after watching the trends in the music industry, these young men have conjured up a clothing line for the fashion forward individual. With successful (and trend-setting brands) such as Sean John, Juicy Couture, Miss Sixty, and True Religion so present in the market, they felt it was time for a new choice of threads for the fashion conscious hipster. This trendy line for men and women is sure to be the new uniform for A-listers and trend-setters. With sleek cuts, unique designs and well crafted fit, the focus is on quality.
The designers will debut their line at a series of chic by invitation only parties at the most exclusive nightclubs in South Florida. Attended by athletes, celebrities, and VIPS, these parties are sure to become the most spectacular events of the season.
Initially the trendy line will solely be available for online purchase. With inspiration drawn from designers all over the world including the latest (and popular) craze from Japan, the pieces for both men and women include vintage looking shirts, bottoms and accessories. As for the particular design elements of each piece, they will utilize embroidery, screen printing, hand applied appliqués, stones and logos. They will utilize a variety of fabrics including denim, cashmere, silk and linen. Look out for Kings N’ Queens to hit the market this fall 2006.
Orosa, Vanegas and Santana, are not new to the world of fashion and entertainment. The trio best known these days for real estate ventures in South Florida also has a background in events and promotions. In the early 90s though the millennium, the group hosted and coordinated some of the hottest events on South Beach in venues such as, Warsaw, Liquid, Groove Jet, Amnesia, and a slew of others. When asked about their newest project they unanimously stated: “we want to provide a line [of clothes] that feels good, looks good and makes everyone wearing it feel like a star.”
Kings N’ Queens Couture will be available for purchase fall 2006. For orders, event information or to schedule an interview with Derrick Orosa, Jorge Vanegas, or Robert Santana Jr., please contact Liza Santana @ Creativas Group (305) 968-2384 / lmsantana@creativasgroup.com.
