The ACLU-Right to Vote Campaign In partnership with the NAACP TN State Conference-Press & Publicity Committee will hold a Town Hall meeting to educate the general public about the new law that streamlines the voting restoration process for individuals who have completed a felony sentence.
Date: Tuesday- September 5, 2006
LOCATION: Clarksville-Montgomery County School System Board of Education Building 621 Gracey Avenue, Clarksville, 37040 Main Board Meeting Room
Time: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
A special panel of expert guests will explain the new law that was signed by Governor Bredesen last month, and the process that will give former felons their voting rights back so that many can be ready to vote in the November Election.

- Hugh Reed Poland, Montgomery County Bar Association
- Vickie Koelman, Clarksville/Montgomery County Election Commission
- Kenneth Alberitton, Former Felon who has restored his Right to Vote
+Special Voter Registration of Former Felons Conducted By: League of Women Voters
All former felons , family members of former felons, attorneys, law enforcement , city & county officials, judges, politicians, church clergy, etc.. Are urged to attend, so this historic information can be communicated throughout the community.
