August 13, 2006 (Press Release) --
Disney is still gearing up to make the second Chronicles Of Narnia epic, Prince Caspian next year, but word comes from producer Mark Johnson (via The Hollywood Reporter) that it’s in for a location switch.
The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe was filmed in New Zealand, but reports now say that Andrew Adamson will make Caspian in Europe’s forests (probably thanks to some new tax deal). The film is set to kick off shooting in January, and Adamson also plans to produce The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader a year after finishing Caspian. Better get started on the effects work for that one right now…
Scare Story 27 Times
Supernatural thriller from Mandate
Mandate Pictures has grabbed the rights to a clammy supernatural thriller script written by Thomas Thonson.
27 Times is the tale of a distrustful youth who cares for his shut-in brother. His sibling’s brain is awash with a special – and terrible – talent: he can see the future, but only violent death. His carer profits from his skills, but then the bad karma of the deaths begins to catch up with them…
There’s no director or cast attached yet.
