SafeMerchant Payment Solutions received an Acceptance of PCI Report on Compliance Letter from Visa this week indicating fulfillment and completion of a Visa U.S.A. Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP) assessment.
The Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP) establishes a set of 12 industry-wide requirements
designed to protect sensitive information from being compromised. These requirements, which also include numerous sub-requirements, are directed at all businesses that store, process, or transmit
cardholder information. The announcement demonstrates SafeMerchant’s commitment to
protecting the confidentiality and integrity of cardholder data and personal data that make purchases using the SafeMerchant Payment Gateway.
SafeMerchant Payment Gateway was developed to meet and exceed the PCI requirements and best practices for Internet transactions.
