TO TAKE PLACE IN HOUSTON OCTOBER 21st, 2006
HOUSTON, October 21st, 2006 The Mexico Travel & Real Estate Expo, the first of its kind in Houston, will take place at the George
R. Brown Convention Center (1001 Avenida de las Americas, downtown Houston) on Saturday, October 21st, 2006
from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Expo will feature exhibitors promoting the travel/tourism industry and real estate products
from throughout Mexico.
The purpose of the show is to promote tourism and real estate in Mexico by bringing together Mexico-based
businesses and tourism officials with U.S. consumers, buyers, travel & real estate industry professionals and the
media, said Ted Donovan, event organizer and president of Mexico Travel and Real Estate Expo. There is no other
public show of this kind in Texas and we are delighted to finally provide an opportunity to educate consumers and
tourists about Mexico travel and real estate products firsthand. The response from exhibitors, sponsors and the general
public has been overwhelming and we anticipate it becoming an annual event.
The cost for admission is $5 per person (children under 12, as well as media and real estate and travel industry
professionals are free with business card). Discount coupons are available online at
www.mexicotravelandrealestate.com. In addition to the Expo, a series of complimentary seminars on tourism and
owning real estate in Mexico will be offered throughout the day.
