August 26, 2006 (Press Release) --
Here are a few words from my experience.
I have seen AOL charging for connections that have been canceled, charge for a connection that was not used for six months, they had cut it off and still charged for it. I have seen AOL block certain legal music sites and other legal sites. Sorry AOL users I think they are the worst service providers.
Have you noticed after paying a bill you recive a red letter for none payment!! My Mother gets them 64 years old and she wants to pay them again. I wonder how many elderly people pay twice and are over charged.
British gas duel fuel, "Absolute bull" Sorry they said, we cannot transfer your gas, there has been a computer error or some other bits of rubbish they lied about, we shall put it to the The complaints Management team. This went on for three months.
Have you checked your bills?
How about an Estate Agent who gives you a false offer in writing then still brings people to view the house two weeks later and no survey done, the swanker said " we need to be careful with some byers".
A burglar/s broke into a house and the insurance company refused to pay the customers first claim because a window was left open. Thats reasonable you might say, the only problem was the open window was on the first floor and just the right size for a cat. The burglar broke in through the locked window on the ground floor, "with a crow bar" the policeman said.
Just in case you don't know, our price's in the UK are one of the highest in the world.
NTL lying and over charging, I had to keep phoning to complain about their service, they always fobbed me off on the first call, I think about it for a while then realize I am correct, Usually on the second phone call within a few minutes of each other they admit their errors.
Email me to send you the complaints letter and a letter in writing of my new contract. (10 pages of errors and complaints)
They have now offered me a 4 meg broadband half price and talk 24 free for a year, thats a total of £22.50 per month includes national phone calls, line rental and broadband. ( I wonder what the catch is )
Did you know Microsoft have sold windows XP Professional to schools in the UK for £7.00 a copy, and they give it away in India. How much do you pay?
Over Charged!! do you think you will get your money back if you don't notice it. NO CHANCE.
This is our reality today. This is Fact.
I had a quick read of my last mobile phone contract.
Right at the end it says :
11. Changes to the Agreement
We may change this Agreement and the Charges at any time. If we increase the Charges for the elements of the Service you are using or change this Agreement to your disadvantage we will use reasonable endeavors to give you 30 days' notice before the changes take place.
Whats the point in having a contract!
Mind if we all read the small prints and contracts, it would take about a year off of your life to go with the four years stuck in traffic and two years sitting on the toilet. (approx)
It is not the local thief's you need to worry about today, most are in prison.
Its the ones that send you letters
