Ascend Training Announces New Chicago Michigan Avenue Adobe, Avid & Quark Facility

August 28, 2006 (Press Release) -- Chicago, IL, August 28, 2006– Due to popular demand, Ascend Training will be opening a new multimedia training facility in downtown Chicago at 410 S. Michigan Avenue. They will continue to offer the same certified Adobe, Quark and Avid classes they offer in Deerfield.

Ascend Training is the only multimedia training company that is certified in Adobe, Quark, and Avid in the Midwest. Ascend offers hands-on workshops in such applications as Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Quark, After Effects, Flex, ColdFusion and others. The multimedia training classes has each student working on their own Mac or PC at an independent workstation.

All instructors at Ascend are professionals in the industry, out working with the programs they teach. This brings more than 80 combined years of valuable, real-world experience into the hands-on classroom environment. Even Ascend’s President and Owner, Jori Curry, has a degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis on Graphic Design, and currently teaches Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Freehand.

The new downtown offices will make the multimedia training offered by Ascend Training more accessible to the Chicago area by being in the Chicago Loop. The new facilities will offer the same multimedia training curriculum, as well as the same emphasis on customer service and satisfaction. Gretchen Minx, Vice President of Client Relations, said, “While our competitors will cancel classes with less than five students, we will run a class with only two students since we respect the time commitment our students have made with us.”
