Shot In The Dark Mysteries offers party hosts an alternative to dull dinner parties, bummer birthday gatherings and funereal family reunions.
With mystery games available for kids, teens and adults, Shot In The Dark Mysteries is a truly unique party experience. Hosts download and print their mystery of choice via PDF file and assign each guest a character. In the end, all in attendance can guess who-done-it.
For younger crowds, Shot In The Dark Mysteries has launched with “The Summer School Swiper,” in which the players solve a theft instead of a murder. For adults, Shot In The Dark Mysteries initially offers “Murder on the Mound,” “Nightmare in the Newsroom,” “The Wizard of Oz Mystery” and a forensic investigation called “Death Scene Investigation Case 1: He Didn’t Know What Him.”
Although with a little deduction and common sense anyone can solve a Shot In The Dark mystery game, Mystery Maiden, the site’s administrator and game writer guarantees a challenge. “I’ll give this much away,” she says with a laugh, “the butler didn’t do it.” Additional games will be added for sale indefinitely.
