Hair guy might have made a mistake this week when he fired Carolyn Kepcher, his Apprentice pal who judged contestants on his NBC reality series.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) September 1, 2006 --
Donald Trump: Hair guy might have made a mistake this week when he fired Carolyn Kepcher, his Apprentice pal who judged contestants on his NBC reality series. According to press reports out of New York City, Trump dumped her because she spent so much time at speaking engagements instead of being available whenever he needed her by his side. He might understand the world of business, but The Donald needs a refresher course in public relations. The more popular Kepcher becomes, the greater her value to him in entertainment ventures. It's not too late for him to pick up the phone and say he's sorry ... what am I thinking? He's Trump. Sorry isn't in his dictionary.
Nicole Kidman: CBS News has been fielding a few questions lately about its decision to alter photos of Katie Couric to make her look slimmer. Kidman has the opposite problem. Her representative, Catherine Olim, told MSNBC's Jeannette Walls that pictures of the actress have been changed to make her look pregnant. The New Deal magazine paid $20,000 for a doctored photo that showed the Oscar-winner with a small belly bump. It was a waste of money. According to Olim, Kidman has three films to act in this year and is her normal, slender self.
Ellen DeGeneres: The reason the funny host's television show is a hit is because she always seems to be enjoying her time on the screen with guests, no matter what questions she asks. Case in point: While talking with Justin Timberlake in New Yorks Central Park during the episode that will kick off the fourth season of The Ellen DeGeneres Show on September 4, she asked the recording star if he is engaged to Cameron Diaz. When the singer seemed hesitant to answer in front of so many fans, Ellen tried again to get the real skinny when she asked if it was time for her to buy a bridesmaid dress. Justin replied, "Go ahead and reserve one. The only thing is you will have to stay the same size for the next fifteen years. One week, were getting married. The next week, we're breaking up. I cant keep up with it." Better luck next time, Ellen.
Rupert Murdoch: The man who owns a lot of the media properties you and I enjoy, think the Fox Network for starters, is giving his daughter, Elisabeth Murdoch, a piece of the American action. Her London-based Shine Ltd. production company has partnered with U.S. syndication giant Twentieth Television, which is controlled by her father's News Corp, to deliver the American version of the British viewer participation series My Games Fever to folks who watch Fox-owned MyNetworkTV affiliates. The series, which will debut in the U.S. December, lets viewers take part in various different games by using the internet or text messaging. It will air Monday through Friday in the 1-3pm time slot.
