September 5, 2006 (Press Release) --
Oklahoma City, OK: Bob Howard Downtown Ford dealer (www.bobhowardford.com), in Oklahoma City brings you the Ford Fusion which is highest ranked vehicle in the mid-size car segment.
Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study showed Ford Fusion as the highest ranked vehicle in the mid-size car segment.
The APEAL Study is based on responses from more than 63,000 purchasers.
Ford Fusion received the highest numerical score among midsize cars. Study is based on responses from 63,607 new vehicle owners, measuring 251 models and measures opinions of consumers after 90 days of ownership. Proprietary study results are based on experiences and perceptions of consumers surveyed in February-May 2006.
The Ford Fusion feels bigger than it looks, and handles curvy mountain roads with ease. Ford Fusion’s long wheelbase and wide track puts the four wheels at the corners for good handling and a better ride. The front suspension is a short and long arm design while the rear wheels are anchored through a multi-link setup. Improved bushings and hydraulic engine mounts keep vibration and road noise to the least.
Ford fusion handles well, looks purposeful and delivers good value for the money.
The mid-size, four-door sedan comes with the choice of two engines, three transmissions, and three trim levels.
All trim levels come standard with a 2.3-liter 160-horsepower four-cylinder Duratec engine coupled to a five-speed manual transmission. A four-speed automatic transmission is optional
