Looking for a "devil-ishly" fun way to win beauty loot? A new Advicesisters contest on the Advice Sisters Great Relationships Web Site gives participants a chance to win five luxe beauty prizes totally over $1,000.
"I was inspired by the hit movie, The Devil Wears Prada" says life & career expert Alison Blackman Dunham (aka. "Advice Sister Alison") who also writes an extensive and popular, monthly beauty, cosmetics & fashion review called "What Works. "I thought a new contest would be a fun way to get Advice Sisters Web Site readers involved with us in a more personal way, and have fun sharing "boss" stories (no personal details, of course). As an incentive, I figured our web site like ours, focused on making life easier, more successful, and more fun, was a perfect fit for this Devil Wears Prada theme. I asked Christian Dior and BeneFit, whose makeup was used in the film, to provide the same products used on the actresses," explains Ms. Blackman Dunham, "and I also was fortunate to receive a significant prize of skincare from another luxury line, Z Bigatti."
All participants have to do is go to The Advice Sisters Web Site (advicesisters -dot-net) between now and the end of the year, and fill out the entry form. There's a place to explain why your boss is a "Devil" or "Angel" and why you think you should win a beauty prize, boss or no boss. There is no fee or obligation to participate.
New Advice Sisters Features in 2006: The contest is just one of several new innovations. Their popular "What Works" Beauty, Cosmetics and Fashion Review column, featuring hundreds of impartial, individual reviews of cosmetics, beauty, health, and fashion-related items went is now monthly. There is an extensive forum on the web site for readers to give and get information about products they like.
