The S&T Group (http://www.thesandtgroup.com), is a Middle East Financial Services Executive Search firm. The firm is working with a leading full service investment bank in the Middle East, with prominent positions in all its key lines of business; Brokerage, Investment Banking, Asset Management, and Private Equity is looking for a firm wide Head of Operations.
Job Description
- To manage the back office operations dealing with equity and derivative securities trading.
- Ensuring effective deployment and operation of Securities Trading and Asset Management Software
- Designing and generating daily reports to monitor trading activities, securities positions and cash balances. Responsible for month end reconciliation with custody and bank accounts.
- Management of Subscriptions/Redemptions for the different Funds.
- Reconcile Funds Cash & Securities positions with the different Fund - Custodians and investigate any differences.
- Review and reconcile Net Asst Value calculations for the different Funds & investigate any differences.
- Entry and follow up of Corporate Actions for the Funds (Cash Dividends, Bonus Shares, Rights Issues…)
- Settlement of all trading transactions on the local, regional and international markets.
- Preparation of bank transfers between the different company accounts.
- Maintaining proper records of transactions and a clear audit trail.
- Supervise, manage performance and develop an effective Operations team
- Related duties as required
Qualifications
- 6+ years experience in related field
- Financial Services Experience
- Bachelors Degree
- Arabic an advantage
