The Wandsworth Super League will begin matches in 2007. It aims to incorporate a champion's league stlye emphasis on existing clubs in London.
The league offers the winners a cash prize of £500 along with medals and trophies.
"I think that it is really good that something like this is coming into the London Area", comments James Smith, manager of Blazin Tigers FC, "It adds a little excitement to our league.
Currently the league has around 12 participating teams and aims to get 30 by the begining of the season.

A new Super League has been launched in London. The "Wandsworth Super League" is a 'Champion's League' style tournament in which teams play in group stages and then 'knock-out' stages.
