Toronto, ON September 11, 2006 Lucid Communications is pleased to announce the hiring of Melissa Legaspi as the companys newest junior consultant. Legaspi brings a diverse media background to Lucid with previous experience including television broadcasting and radio promotions as well as a Masters Degree in mass communication specializing in public relations from Georgia State University.

Legaspis new position at Lucid Communications will include all aspects of media relations for Lucids impressive list of lifestyle clientele. Since she has started as an intern at Lucid in February 2006, she has already assisted in events for the Regent Park School of Music at Eggplant restaurant and the launch party for BioHerbaLai Inc.s Empress Secret at Victoria Radford Toronto.
Raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Legaspi received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Broadcast news from the University of Georgia where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors. Through her experience at UGA, she was able to work at various television outlets throughout the U.S. including Rainbow Medias The Daily Beat in New York City as well as WSB-TV Channel 2 Action News in Atlanta. While obtaining her Masters Degree from Georgia State University, Legaspi had the opportunity to work at various public relations firms in Atlanta including Edelman and 360 Media: Entertainment, Lifestyle and Music PR. Prior to moving to Toronto, Legaspi spent a year working in radio promotions for Atlantas leading top 40s radio station, All the Hits Q100.5 FM, where she was able to rub elbows with the likes of Jennifer Lopez and the Black Eyed Peas.
Specializing in strategic PR and niche marketing, Lucid Communications welcomes the addition Melissa Legaspi to its continually expanding company. At Lucid, Legaspi will assist in overseeing every aspect of the creative and technical development areas for each client and will enliven these companies media presence through expertise in effective branding and buzz marketing initiatives.
