Sweeta, CEO and founder of BeEnvied, Inc. describes their product line-up. “BeEnvied, Inc. has developed a unique cosmetic product kit that can ease the daily pressure and stress of the average business woman on the go and enhance their physical appearance. The new and unique cosmetic kit will be introduced to the market in three different kit styles with the focus on the convenience and easy access of the consumer. Each Kit will contain one item of all the necessary products such as the Liquid Foundation, Cream Foundation, Compact Powder, Rouge (Blush), Eyebrow pencil, Mascara, Eyeliner, Eye-shadow, Lipstick and Lip pencil and lip gloss.”
This product will be introduced to the market in mid-November, prior to the busiest shopping season of the year. BeEnvied, Inc. plans to roll out just out just one kit, in a couple of different colors at a mid-level price of $39.99. Looking to gain market share, BeEnvied, Inc. is looking to overtake a number of customers from their competitors by “offering an exceptional product at a lower price and focusing on quantity at the time being.” (Lyn, VP of Marketing)
BeEnvied, Inc. will focus on pushing their product at the consumer level. BeEnvied, Inc. plans to hire people to go into the field and promote the product face to face. They will hit your local stores and promote their product via brochures as well as samples. “We believe that face to face interaction is the best kind of advertising we could hope for. With some incentives to our distributors we hope that the samples will help bring consumers over from other brands” (Manny, Head of Product Distribution)
The company also hopes to go international after their launch. They have already brought over Dana from Phillip Morris International to head their international department. “We believe that we can promote this product overseas. BeEnvied, Inc. has high hopes. Those currently involved with the company have put personal stakes in the company and failure is not an option. The company was put together on contributions from each co-owner in the amount of $20,000 each. BeEnvied, Inc is also looking for a note in the amount of $300,000 that is due in five years, amortized over fifteen years. “We believe that $420,000 will be a sufficient amount to get us through the initial bumps of the start-up phase” (Myoka, CFO)
BeEnvied, Inc. is hoping to sell about 13,000 units in the next year with sales reaching the $500,000 mark by September of 2007. “We believe that if we take a sales focused approach to our company and focus on the logistics of profitable distribution, we will reach our goal selling 13,000 units within a year.
