St. Paul, MN, September 19, 2006: The MN 9/11 Questions Meetup Group will host a free program, open to the public, on Saturday 9/23/06, from 2:00-5:00 pm, at the Merriam Park Library, located at the intersection of Fairview and Marshall Avenues in St. Paul. The program offers a review of a few documented cases of false flag operations and similar activities during the 20th century and an analysis of the official accounts of the 9/11/01 US attacks and the 7/7/05 UK attacks, to examine their validity. Segments from two documentary films will be shown as part of the review and there will be time for audience feedback and discussion.
There has been a surge of public interest in 9/11 open issues in recent months. More and more of the US public, across the political spectrum, is skeptical of the official story presented in the 9/11 Commission Report. More than a third of Americans suspect that federal officials assisted in or allowed the 9/11 terrorist attacks so that the United States could go to war in the Middle East, according to a recent Scripps Howard/Ohio University poll.
The MN 9/11 Questions Meetup Group experienced a 61% increase in membership during the first 18 days of September, jumping from 41 to 66. It is currently the largest of the 29 Meetup groups nationwide devoted to pursuing “9/11 Questions”, which topic is now listed as one of the “Popular Topics in Politics & Activism” on the overall Meetup website.
The program on 9/23/06 at Merriam Park Library will be an opportunity for citizens -- concerned about the country’s direction, distrustful of the government’s sincerity, or just curious and willing to hear a skeptical viewpoint – to review and discuss information that might shed light on what really happened on 9/11. (The program is not sponsored by the St. Paul Public Library.) The following is a summary of this event announced by the MN 9/11 Questions Meetup Group:
