ATLANTA, GA – September 25, 2006 –The law firm of Daley, Koster & LaVallee, LLC is pleased to announce the opening of its new office in Atlanta. The firm is committed to providing the highest quality representation in employment law, governmental liability, governmental relations, appellate litigation, sports law, and general litigation.
The Daley, Koster & LaVallee law firm consists of three partners, Cynthia Matthews Daley, Paul Koster, and Matthew LaVallee. Following several years of working together, the three young and dynamic lawyers made the decision to start a firm together based on their shared ethics and passion to serve their clients.

Prior to opening Daley, Koster & LaVallee, Paul Koster chaired the governmental practice group at a nearly 90 attorney law firm. He is a former staff attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and former member of the faculty at Emory University School of Law. Koster has spoken nationally and has been published nationally on issues impacting local governments and their officials. In 1991, Koster obtained his B.S. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and in 1996 graduated magna cum laude and received his J.D. from the Catholic University of America.
Cynthia Matthews Daley, Partner
Cynthia Matthews Daley currently serves as a magistrate judge in Georgia’s Carroll County in addition to her private practice at Daley, Koster & LaVallee. She formerly co-chaired the employment practice group at an Atlanta law firm with nearly 90 attorneys, and in 2001 clerked for the Honorable Justice Hugh P. Thompson of the Georgia Supreme Court. Daley has been a featured speaker on discrimination, fair labor standards, and issues impacting the legal profession. In 2001, Daley received her J.D. from the Georgia State University College of Law and currently serves on its Graduate Leadership Council.
Matthew LaVallee, Partner
Matthew LaVallee currently serves as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia and is a certified contract advisor with the National Football League Players Association. He has represented a wide variety of state, county, and city officials, including mayors, police chiefs, and state patrolmen. LaVallee worked close to four years in the Civil Rights Division of the State of Georgia’s Attorney General’s Office. He has argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and tried cases before state and federal trial courts. In 1995, LaVallee received his B.A. from Ithaca College and in 1999 received his J.D. from the Syracuse University College of Law.
