(Miami, FL) -- The 2nd Annual Florida Entertainment Summit will be held from Dec 1-3, 2006 in Miami, Florida. The summit was created to provide a networking outlet that assist with brokering deals, interacting with influential decision makers and understanding opportunities that exist in the digital world. The summit encourages entertainers to cross promote and collaborate with other entertainment entities to maximum their reach.
The Florida Entertainment Summit will include panel discussions for actors, recording artists, film makers and models. This year, the summit is proud to announce the addition of the Artist/DJ Drop Lounge and the Artist Boot Camp. The drop lounge was created to provide artists and DJs an environment to share drops, free styles and create exclusives. The Artist Boot Camp is an intense (3) day, artist development workshop spearheaded by Producer Donovan Knowles, who Russell Simmons refers to as “the encyclopedia of the entertainment industry”.
In addition to the Artist/DJ Drop Lounge and the Artist Boot Camp, the Florida Entertainment Summit has also implemented a college tour which will kick off on Sunday, Oct 15 in Daytona Beach, FL during Bethune Cookman’s College Homecoming and end on Nov 2nd in Tallahassee, FL on the Campus of Florida State University; other cities on the tour include Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando, West Palm Beach & Miami.
The 2nd Annual Florida Entertainment Summit will not be short of prizes and surprises. Bigga Rankin of The Core DJs, Vice President of The Hittmenn DJs and Florida Entertainment Summit 2005 Record Breaker of the Year has agreed to award one lucky recording artists their very own Bigga Rankin hosted Mix CD which will land them inclusion on the highly sought after RNR Mixtape series which include artists such as Young Jeezy, Juvenile, Boyz In Da Hood, Rick Ross, Plies, Gucci Man, Ray Cash, Jacki O, Young Cash, Squad Up and a host of others; Independent film makers registered for the summit will have an opportunity to win an advance screening of their project during the summit; and (1) actor/model will win an opportunity to grace the cover of the Official Guide to the Florida Entertainment Summit.
