September 27, 2006 (Press Release) --
Alvin Nichols, an Atlanta Bartender known by his nickname “The Ice Cream Man” which was given to him by his loyal following of customers at one of Atlanta's high profile Bar/Restaurants owned by famed Atlanta based rapper, producer, and songwriter Jermaine Dupri.
Alvin, tall dark and showcasing his natural dreads has found his special talents in mixing drinks. “What is important to customers is the care that bartenders offer them," Alvin stated. "I mix my drinks with such a good blend that my clients do not focus on how much alcohol they can drink up but on just enjoying a good drink which I consider responsible drinking. I take a little extra time in creating a warm sexy low light with candles atmosphere. This works well for the customer that just came out of bright lights in a work environment. Selections of good sounding music also play an important part in making the customer feel relaxed in the early evening. The Ladies especially love this, so naturally the men will follow.
I've served drinks to tourist and celebrities that come through here from all over the world. Many have asked me for my ice cream drink recipes which you can make at home for your own enjoyment.”
