Santa Clarita, California -- The premier wine festival in the Los Angeles and Valencia region of California began in 2005 and returns October 5 - 8 with a full schedule of wine tasting, golf, entertainment and more.
The Loose Goose Wine Festival at Bridgeport Park, 23520 Bridgeport Lane, Valencia is only a short 35-mile drive from Los Angeles, which makes this the perfect fall get-away weekend event.
"From chic wine pairing dinners, to the Loose Goose Golf Classic scramble tournament, and the exclusive reserve-tasting Golden Goose Gala, all roads lead to the main festival event in Bridgeport Park, Valencia, October 7 and 8, where guests will enjoy a selection of the finest varietals today's wine world has to offer," described Peter Goossens, founder and namesake of The Loose Goose, a personal wine purveyor and consulting company.
The main event is the Loose Goose Wine Festival on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 5 to 10 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 8 from 1 to 5 p.m. Festival-goers will be able to sample wines from a preferred mix of large, medium and smaller up-and-coming vineyards from California, domestic and international vineyards exclusively selected to participate by invitation only. The festival includes expertly prepared gourmet cuisine, dancing, luxury-related vendors, and live entertainment.
Famed Latin jazz Pete Escovedo Orchestra, featuring Sheila E., Peter Michael and Juan Escovedo, will perform on Sunday, October 8, preceded by the D’Anbino Family Jazz Band from Paso Robles. Saturday evening’s lineup includes the Doctor Wu Band, a Steely Dan tribute band. The Loose Goose Golf Classic will be held at the Tournament Players Club, 26550 N. Heritage View Lane, Valencia, Thursday, October 5. The Golden Goose Gala, a black-tie dinner and V.I.P. reserve-tasting event, is on Friday, October 6.
