On May 26 2006 the fright company Central Transport officially lost a container of overstock jewelry and watches on its way from a High-EndDepartment Store liquidation center to its wholesale closeouts company Merchandize Liquidators ( http://www.merchandizeliquidators.com.
Merchandize Liquidators liquidate overstock and return goods from many department stores. In resent years its focus is on overstock high end clothing, jewelry, handbags domestics and more from upscale department stores. On May 12, 2006 Central Transport picked up a load of Jewelry which considered to be the most popular load among Merchandize Liquidators clients and was scheduled to delver it on May16, 2006. After few delays Central Transport announced that the fright was lost. Merchandize Liquidators filled an official clam against Central Transport and asked to be refunded for the total wholesale value of the load which is estimated to be more than half a million dollars. Central Transport disclaim the charges saying that the purchasing price was way lower and the selling price by Merchandize Liquidators to its clients is only 20 percent on the wholesale dollar.
Due to Merchandize Liquidators firm demand Central Transport offered a partial compensation but with Joe Martin, the founder of Merchandize Liquidators taking a personal action Central Transport offer was not accepted. Finally, after a major law suit on the way Central Transport found the container seating in Orlando Florida. According to a source from Central Transport “there was a great relive in the company’s headquarters.” When we asked Joe Martin for his next move, he clam that no law suit will be filled – “All we wanted find our lost treasure .”
