The Reconstructing Your Life for the Newly Single Women Workshop will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2006 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the
The Sheraton Clayton Plaza, 7730 Bonhomme Avenue in Clayton, Missouri.
Worksho presentations will cover a variety of topics, ranging from the basics of financial and legal "know how” to overcoming the emotional issues which many women in this situation face.
Facilitator Robin L. Ude, PhD specializes in relationship counseling and other areas of women's health. She developed the Reconstructing Your Life for the Newly Single Women Workshop as a result of her own situation after the sudden death of her husband.
The workshop features professionals who represent the best in their area of expertise:
• Financial - banking, investments, your insurance needs, selling real estate and qualifying for mortgages.
• Legal - wills and trusts, preserving your credit, and the legal issues following a divorce or spouse's death.
• Psychological - overcoming depression and anxiety, working to assess your needs and making the most of your future.
The workshop is open to the public. Tickets are $45.00 if registered by October 7 ($75.00 at the door) and include lunch and parking.
