September 28, 2006 (Press Release) --
Redmoon Theater, which has been staging elaborate spectacles of puppetry and mechanical contraptions in the city's parks for years, has forged an official five-year partnership with the Chicago Park District aimed at spreading its joy to more of the city's green locations. To encourage community participation in the creation of the productions, Redmoon will give the Park District 10 percent of its tickets to distribute to park patrons and community members. The partnership kicks off Oct. 3-9 in Columbus Park with "Spectacle '06: Twilight Orchard." For further information, go to www.redmoon.org.
