A new resource is now available to help basketball players of all ages improve their skills and add enjoyment to the game.
October 1, 2006 – Since the creation of the basketball “Dream Team” in 1992, the popularity of basketball has exploded worldwide. More people are learning and playing the game of basketball now than ever before and the sport is experiencing continual growth and popularity.
”I think basketball is so popular, because it’s so simple to start playing”, says basketball coach and newsletter publisher Mike Jensen. “People really get into it, because almost everyone can play it at some level” says Jensen. “I think the fact that it is so easy to start playing, but difficult to master, also makes the game really appealing”, Jensen adds.
To aid in the growth of basketball and to help people learn the game, a free new resource has just been released. The Basketballpro Insider is a free online newsletter filled with basketball tips and instruction specifically designed to help players learn to play better and increase their knowledge of the game.
The newsletter is available online, at no cost, to anyone that signs up. Every month subscribers will get a new issue, plus they will receive weekly tips and news, via e-mail, as part of their subscription.
