Veterans Financial Services, Inc. Will Be Speaking About VA Aid & Attendance For Assisted Living.

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 11, 2006 -- Many wartime veterans, or their surviving spouses, who find it medically necessary to live in an assisted living community or a nursing home are unaware that the Veterans Administration has a benefit program that may defray a significant portion of the cost of care.

A little known Veterans Pension program, Aid & Attendance, exists which can pay anywhere from $945-$1,743 per month*. This benefit is available for qualifying Veterans or their surviving spouses who are in need or assistance with their activities of daily living and are paying for such care.

The application process can be slow and confusing, but with some guidance, most qualifying applicants are approved.
