(Free-Press-Release.com) October 12, 2006 -- JacketsandJammies.org was started by Aimee Pool , a mother of three, after attending a Twin Lakes 40 Days of Community small group . 40 Days of Community consists of several small groups through out the county who meet in the homes of Twin Lakes members. With a pastor 's guidance , each group is discovering new ways to love one another by working together and reaching out to the community. The Bible says �Love one another as I have loved you, by this all man will know that you are my disciples� .

JacketsandJammies.org is a non-profit organization that will collect new and gently used winter jackets and jammies to keep needy children in Santa Cruz County warm this winter. �There are many children in our county who cannot afford a winter coat or warm jammies.� JacketsandJammies.org hopes to collect and distribute the jackets and pajamas through out the county with the help of local volunteers. Aimee Pool says �The response that we have already received is amazing, truly an act of God. This is a Christian organization, but all faiths are encouraged to join in and help. It is about loving and taking care of the people we share our world with�. All of the donations will be distributed to needy and homeless children within Santa Cruz County.
