Emitations Thinks Pink and Contributes to Susan G. Komen Foundation
E-commerce to donate 15 percent of pink jewelry sales to breast cancer research
SAN DIEGO – In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Emitations.com will donate 15% of its sales on all pink jewelry to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The promotion will last two weeks beginning on Monday, October 16 and last through Monday, October 30.
Pink is the official color of Emitations and women are their cause so it’s appropriate they contribute to an organization in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, president of Emitations Au-Co Mai said.
“It’s important to contribute to finding a cure for a disease that affects so many women,” Mai said. “It’s also important that our customers know how much of their purchase goes to the foundation.”
Each item listed on the Pink section of the Web site will state how much goes to the charity. After the campaign, Emitations will report the total amount that will be sent to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
As a small company, it won’t be nearly as much as the big corporations but customers will know exactly how much of their money went to the cause, Mai added. Emitations urges women wear their pretty in pink baubles with pride!
