October 16, 2006 (Press Release) --
The Untrodden Road is a new website that launched this past September 2006. Its goal is simple, to provide real solutions for those who need to stay home and still earn a living. The information is free for the taking, a rarity on the web today, and its interactive features provide many benefits for its readers.
This site is very simple to navigate and offers a myriad of different opportunities for working from home. People from entry level to professional status will be able to find suitable telecommuting positions on this site. The site is updated with new job postings daily and offers many other features such as a weekly newsletter to keep readers up to speed with new opportunities, a message board for the readers to support one another in their endeavors, and a blog that allows readers’ commentary. Aside from work at home positions, company listings of those that hire telecommuters, and home business directories, the site also offers information on places to continue one’s education, obtain the tools needed for each position, and a full listing of other resources to help new home workers along the way. There is also a section for articles on how to succeed, maintain a work-life balance, and caring for one’s self.
Readers appear thrilled with the new resource. Tracy Meyers, home business owner of Handmade Prayer Gifts and web mistress of www.HandmadePrayerGifts.com states, “Untroddenroad.com is loaded with useful info and tools. It has been very beneficial in helping me tighten my focus on what's needed to get my home craft business out there both on and off line. It’s simple to navigate and not overdone with affiliate links. Very useful content for anyone looking for easy-to-swallow bites of home business information and advice.”
Untrodden’s web mistress, Christen Pyle, is a career coach and worked as both a counselor and successful recruiter prior to beginning a work at home career. When asked what her motivation was in creating such an in-depth website for free she told us this: “I didn’t want to create yet another ‘Get Rich Quick’ E-book to put out there and sell to people. I wanted to provide real answers in easy to understand language to help people that need to stay home and still earn a living. I also did not want to charge money from people who are in need of work! That just doesn’t sit right with me. I am a firm believer that if you help others, good things will happen to you so I am not worried at all about offering it for free! I enjoy helping people and I know that there are many parents who cannot stand the thought of leaving their children in daycare 8-10 hours per day. There are also people with disabilities and illnesses that need money but just cannot hold a job outside the home. Others need flexibility for different reasons. They all deserve to know that there is a solution to their problem. That’s why I created this website.”
