October 17, 2006 (Press Release) -- The trio have created VarsityLounge, an internet based learning and resource center for students. Originally the site, found at http://www.varsitylounge.com, was conceived as a resource for foreign students, struggling with the challenges of mastering the American culture and language as well as their studies. As the concept expanded, American students seeking help and information, especially when studying during odd hours of the day have expressed interest in the site as well.
Similar to sites such as Facebook or MySpace, VarsityLounge also allows students to share study materials and ideas related to their particular courses.
As a new-comer to the U.S., Mafolasire was excited about attending college. However, he often felt intimidated and was reluctant to speak up or ask questions in class because of his accent.
“I know other foreign students struggle with the same issue,” said Mafolasire. “As I progressed, the classes became more challenging and it was difficult to find help.
“I knew there were students who had access to materials which would make learning easier but being so shy, I did not have a medium I could use to network with such students.”
Through the site, students will be able to:
• Contribute to the databank of student submitted course materials.
• Seek help from fellow students when they get stuck on a homework, project or preparing for a test.
• Exchange ideas with other students by keeping and sharing blogs of their personal and academic activities.
• Learn more faster by using course specific course materials.

They all came to the US as students, studying Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Electrical engineering respectively. Osi and Hari plan on heading to medical school after graduation while Walle hopes to grow his small business, Conqar Solutions.
