October 17, 2006 (Press Release) --
Bookmark Base team announced latest release of Bookmark Base software tool v2.0.0.2 which is a portable bookmark manager. Bookmark Base is aimed to synchronize and maintain one set of bookmarks amongst different browsers and computers.
Latest Bookmark Base version now supports Mozilla Seamonkey and K-Meleon browsers. You can import and export bookmarks from that browsers the same way as from MS Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Opera.
Also, Bookmark Base 2 now supports XBEL file format which is an XML-based file for bookmarks. This allows users to exchange bookmarks with other web-based and desktop bookmark managers.
Bookmark Base featured on the market with totally new approach to bookmark management. Its key aspect is portability: user deploys Bookmark Base to any portable carrier device (like USB drive or iPod) and that’s it – he will have all his bookmarks easily reachable on any PC with any browser installed.
Extra-short learning curve will allow anyone to perform complex operations on bookmarks with a few clicks using powerful Bookmark Base features. User will never see any duplicates; intelligent algorithm will wipe them out. If user has similar bookmarks structure in different browsers – bookmarks will be merged into one unified structure which will be almost the same as initial ones.
