“Nashville Singer/Songwriter Rocks Jersey”
MILLVILLE,NJ– Nashville singer/songwriter Anthony Christopher Orio will perform an acoustic show at Old Oar House Brewery on Saturday October 21 from 9:00pm-1:00am. The acoustic show is free to the public and will be Orio’s first north east show since August.
Orio, a Pennsylvania native has had the dream of being a country singer for as long as he can remember. “I was about 6 and had my first public singing performance. After that I knew I wanted to be a performer,” he said, “and by the time I started playing guitar, I knew I wanted to sing country music. My dad always listened to country music when he was growing up. My earliest memories are of listening to George Strait, Alabama, The Judd’s and Reba McIntyre on his 33 1/3 vinyl albums.”
To start his journey on the road to country music stardom, Orio moved to Nashville and attended Vanderbilt University. Throughout his college career he graced the stages of the Blue Bird Café, Tootsies Orchid Lounge and the famous Grand Ole Opry. Since graduating in 2003 he continues his passion for country music and has hit the road to greet country music fans throughout the United States.
Orio is currently touring the southeast and northeast regions of the country, performing his brand of country music with a rock twist at various colleges, clubs, and festivals.
