State Farm® is very happy by the story that aired on this evening’s ABC 20/20 program and is so happy about the accuracy that two external independent claims adjusters, Cori Rigsby Moran and Kerri Rigsby claimed. The story shows how State Farm’s claims handling process in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina were indeed correct. The fact is that we had more than 84,700 property claims that we handled in the state of Mississippi. We issued payments on less than 1 percent of those claims.
