Xcel Talent Agency dances its way to Nashville market

Nashville, October 24, 2006 � Xcel Talent Agency is opening the first dance agency in Nashville, Tennessee representing dancers and choreographers, for an array of productions, be it commercial, film, television, industrial theatrical or music videos.

With over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, the dance agency led by President Aris Golemi, has gained excellent reputation both nationally and internationally. Dancers and choreographers represented by Xcel Talent Agency have performed on CMT, MTV, VH1 and all major networks. They have also worked with Country Music Awards, Ashlee Simpson, Macy Gray, Will Smith, LaToya Luckett, Black Eyed Peas /Sergio Mendez, Kenny Chesney, Big N Rich, Hank Williams, Keith Sweat, Genuwine, Dwight Yoakam, R&B Artist Lloyd and many more.

Country music industry and their music videos are becoming more sophisticated and the artists are using more dancers and choreographer for their productions. The agency will host three workshops / auditions on Saturday, October 28, 2006 featuring internationally recognized choreographers Doriana Sanchez, Bubba Carr, Quincy Lamar and Jamie Lane. These accomplished choreographers have staged productions for well-known artists like Cher and Shakira and are currently choreographing and judging for the reality show hit "So You Think You Can Dance."

The workshops/auditions will be held at the DC Dance Factory, 1850-E General George Patton Drive, Franklin, Tennessee. It will open with an all styles workshop (age 8-17) at 10:30 am taught by choreographer Jamie Lane, followed by a Hip-Hop/Freestyle workshop (age 18 +) at 12.30 am taught by choreographer Quincy Lamar. The day will conclude with a workshop for technical dancers (age 18 +) at 2:30 pm taught by choreographer Bubba Carr. Choreographer Doriana Sanchez will judge and select dancers to be represented by the agency. The cost for each workshop is $25.
