According to WENN, U.S. authorities have made no attempt to extradite Wesley Snipes from Namibia to face the tax fraud charges leveled against him.

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 25, 2006 -- According to WENN, U.S. authorities have made no attempt to extradite Wesley Snipes from Namibia to face the tax fraud charges leveled against him.
Lidwina Shapwa, Namibia's Ministry of Justice permanent secretary, insists there has been no American contact seeking extradition. The two countries do not have an extradition treaty.
The Blade actor was indicted last week on eight counts of tax fraud over allegations he tried to cheat the government out of $12 million in false refund claims. He is currently shooting the horror film GALLOWWALKER in Namibia.
