People do what they wanna' do!
Fox couldn't care less about politics. He wants to survive ...and that's healthy!
RL wants to survive in the "public eye" ...and he does that by being outrageous.
So, what's the beef? -

Let's Focus on the Big Picture
I voted and said we take things too seriously in this country...at least, too seriously on the events and happenings that really don't make a difference except to people that have nothing better to do than criticize other people....prime example ...Limbaugh....Frankly, I can't remember him NOT criticizing something or someone....why would Michael Fox be an exception to his sad Modus Operandi...Let's all focus on what's important in the big picture...and it is not what Limbaugh says or does....amen. -- Gary L on October 26, 2006
Not a Limbaugh Fan
I'm not a Limbaugh fan anyway as his whole program is nothing but sensationalism to get people to listen and that is what he does. He knows he gets both sides of the fence in doing this - it is the old "showbiz" razzmatazz. He pays homage to the Republican way of thinking and while they are all going rah-rah "you tell 'em Rush, you da man!" He then gets the Democrats saying "is he nuts how can he say that?" Come on! It's the oldest formula in talk radio it is nothing new. Hundreds before him did it and hundreds will continue long after he turns the mike off for the last time. On the MJ Fox thing it was just plain wrong. He could of made mention that he doesn't agree with stem cell research, etc., but to make sport of a man who truly has a disease is just plain bad taste. Gee, I recall he didn't think it was fair when the media took shots at him for his personal problems! As a previous comment said "we have more important things to worry about," let's not let our lives be gauged on the "ratings driven" opinions of a talk show host. He's just the same guy at the coffee counter spouting his views only difference is he has a radio show! -- Not a Limbaugh fan on October 26, 2006
Abe Lincoln might have said ...
MJ Fox suffers an inexorable debilitating disease. He will and must do anything he can to overcome it. It is only fitting and proper that he do so.
Rush Limbaugh is a vociferous political pundit who succeeds in notoriety by making audacious public comment. The 1st Amendment grants him the right to prostitute that privilege. -- PeterPiper.blogmatrix.com PRSCHIAPPA@aol.com
