Local Web Design Firm Helps College Students Learn New Life Lessons -- Online

Washington, DC-based web design firm Blue Water Media developed www.whyinsurance.org, an interactive online insurance resource geared towards college students, for the LIFE Foundation.

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 27, 2006 -- Washington, DC (FPR) October 27, 2006 -- Blue Water Media (http://www.bluewatermedia.com) today announced the launch of a new website designed for college students. Capitalizing on the lack of exposure college students have with risk management and insurance planning concepts, the LIFE Foundation, an umbrella organization covering several insurance groups, commissioned Washington, DC-based web design firm Blue Water Media to create the new interactive online resource site.

The new website (http://www.whyinsurance.org) packages the vast information from the LIFE Foundation�s network of over 160,000 insurance agents in a user-friendly and interactive site ideal for college students. The web design strategy was to present this information in a fun, interactive matter, but also simplify the learning process. Thus, the site content includes instructional Flash videos and downloadable resources for topics ranging from life insurance to disability insurance to auto insurance.

The site, titled �Insurance Matters: Community College Edition,� is a collaborative project developed by the LIFE Foundation and Somerset Community College in Somerset, Kentucky. It was funded through a grant by the US Department of Energy.
