October 28, 2006 (Press Release) --
1-MINUTE RESUME FOR KRISTEN BELL
Due to stage fright, Kristen Bell nearly missed her cue to go onstage in a school production of Raggedy Ann and Andy. She was 12 then and has since recovered in a big way. She now stars as the 17-year-old crime-solver in Veronica Mars — though in reality, Bell was 7 years older than Mars when the series premiered. Since guest-starring on both Everwood and Deadwood, the diminutive Bell (she is 5-foot-1) is slated to appear in 2006's shriek-thriller Pulse.
5 Things:
1. She graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
2. In 2002, she appeared in the Broadway production of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Laura Linney.
3. She is a vegetarian.
4. She is a big fan of America's Funniest Home Videos.
5. She was featured in Jane's July 2005 issue as one of the "eleven people you'd most like to see naked."
Quote:
On her bathtub scene in Pulse: "There aren't many suds, but they shot it very tastefully."
